In addition to serving children in the community with STEM learning events, "Girls in STEM" also organize volunteering activities for senior residents in the neighborhood.

 

Some of such activities included "Technology Day for Seniors" initiative hosted by "Girls in STEM", when club members spent time visiting local senior living communities, and taught residents on:

• Using mobile devices

• Sharing pictures with family and friends

• Editing simple videos

• Searching videos and watching YouTube
